What we look at
The IT Security Review is a cyber security assessment sized for small business. We review the everyday things that decide whether a business gets caught out - the way you and your team work, the systems your business depends on, and how well you would recover if something went wrong.
This is a review of how your business is protected. It is not a technical intrusion test - nothing is attacked, nothing is disrupted.

Common questions
Is this a penetration test?
No. This is a structured review of how your business is protected - nothing is attacked or disrupted. If your situation calls for deeper technical testing, the report will say so.
How is this different from a full cyber security assessment?
The review is a fixed-price assessment built on a questionnaire and a consultation. A full IT Security Assessment examines how your systems are configured in detail, and an Essential Eight assessment identifies the controls and evidence behind each of ASD’s eight strategies. An ISM assessment does the same against the full Information Security Manual. All three are priced by individual quote, and the review tells you whether you need one yet.
We already have an IT company. Is this still useful?
Yes - and they are welcome in the consultation. We review how the business is protected as a whole; your IT provider is usually the one who then implements the fixes. An independent view complements, not replaces, them.
Are we too small for this to matter?
If your business uses email and holds customer details, you are the size attackers actually target. Five laptops is enough.
What if I need to cancel?
Full refund any time before your consultation takes place. After that, the review is underway.
What happens after the report?
It is yours. Action it yourself, hand it to your IT provider, or engage us to help - there is no obligation either way. One business per review.
